Victor Story, Chairman
Victor is very active in local community, and presently serves on the Polk County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, Director and Area Vice President of Florida Citrus Mutual which is the leading advocacy trade group for citrus growers with approximately 8,000 members, and Advisory Board Member of Citizens Bank and Trust of Polk County. He is also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Wales, Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post 71 in Lake Wales, and Imperial Polk County Gun Club.
Victor served as the immediate Past President of Polk County Farm Bureau, former City Commissioner and Mayor of Lake Wales, former three-time Chairman of Polk County Farm Service Agency which is an elected position focusing on conservation practices and farm programs. He has also been former President of Lake Wales YMCA, Lake Wales Little League, and President of Hillcrest Elementary School PTO.
Victor has lived in Polk County for 63 years during which time he has resided in Frostproof, Babson Park and Lake Wales. He graduated from Lake Wales High School in 1963 and is married to Ann Hendrickson Story for 38 years. They have five children and ten grandchildren, all of which live in Polk County.
